  Dear Les,
  
  I was last in touch with you in 1998, you emailed me  on 9 January!  How time flies!  Anyway having now found myself with a bit more time on my hands I have picked up the search for my family tree, but have stumbled quite early on!  My own Grandfather was Arthur Milton Woollett, (your births extract has an Arthur Milton Woollett born in 1897, but my mother is adamant that he was actually born in 1900.  I think this could just be that she had always thought of him as being born at the turn of the century!)  Grandpop Woollett's birthday was 17 March but I do not know who his parents were, neither can I find him in the 1901 census and I do not have a birth certificate for him.
  
  Now that the census records are at last available I thought you might be interested to have some copies I have downloaded of the people that I believe are my ancestors.  One very helpful piece of information with the census was that I recently came into possession of a family bible (a huge thing and very heavy, interestingly full of engravings! (William Woollet perhaps!)  It had been for years in the book case that belonged to Arthur Milton Woollett, which my cousin Anthony Arthur Woollett now has.  He lent me the bible and I found in the opening pages some details of births and 3 deaths.
  
  The details read as follows:
  
  Samuel  Milton Woollett born 6/12/1866  (died 15/2/1897)
  Walter Neal Woollett born 5/4/1868
  Arthur Woollett born 19/3/1870
  Annie Woollett born 10/8/1872  (scary this as I am also known as 'Annie')
  Horace Woollett born 11/9/1974
  Amy Woollett born 7/10/1875
  Ethel Woollett born 15/9/1877
  Louis Woollett born 19/8/1880
  Mabel Adelaide Woollett born 22/3/1882  (died 22/8/1882)
  
  The deaths mention the 2 children above Samuel and Mabel and also that of Samuel Neal Woollett on 9/2/1916 (born 1844? from the details on your Woolliett records?)
  
  
  
  I am attaching the census pages for Walter Neal Woollett, (on the census transcription his wife is shown as 'Christopher' but she was Christian
  
  Also for Samuel Neal Woollett, which shows all the above names at home on census night, except Arthur, Water and Horace.
  
  Horace Woollett was a visitor on census night staying with a family called Andrews, but as he was married then I have also found his wife and baby, (who I think died aged 12, taken from your deaths records!).  Looks to me like Horace went to Australia after his son died, and after his first wife died in Oz he remarried.
  
  Also for Arthur Woollett. now this could be the father of my Grandpop, I am doubtful but this is the only Arthur Woollett I can find on the census pages who would have been the right age, i.e. 31 , who could have had a son born in 1897.  Well I think that's what I think! But he did have a son Victor, which was my own Dads middle name, all very confusing!
  
  I hope this isn't repeating something you already have and I hope you can open the files and zoom in!, I keep returning to your website for inspiration so don't give it up!

  PS  Have also found out that Grandpop Arthur Milton Woollett was married to Rose Elizabeth Rapley, I didn't have her surname before but found it in her confirmation bible also in the same bookcase as the bible! They were parents of my late Dad Leslie Victor Woollett and Uncle Arthur Edward Woollett
